For the last 10 years, I have been actively involved in youth programming through both the city park programs and the Southwest Hockey Association. If I haven't coached your kid in soccer or hockey, I probably have coached one of your neighbor's kids. I believe that Minneapolis Recreational Centers are the heart of our community and the future of our city is developed through providing recreational programs to our kids.

I have lived in Minneapolis for over twenty years and have been a huge park user during that time period. From bike riding the trails to the river, to walking my dog at Minnehaha Falls Park, to quiet walks to the Lake Harriet Bandshell with my family, to taking in urban nature while cursing at my golf clubs at Theodore Wirth Golf Course; I believe we have the best urban park system in the world, and it is our job to make sure it is here for future generations. As a Board Commissioner, I will make sure we are always continually improving - whether that is keeping our lake water clean or having some of the best programs for adults and kids out of our community recreational centers.
